Veterans' Day Tuesday & special thanks to Sheldon Adelso

of the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. Mr. Adelson has and continues to fly some of our wounded veterans to Vegas on an all expense paid trip on his private jet. They bring their spouses with them, and he puts them in large executive suites. This costs Mr Adelson a million a trip. I learned of this some time ago, and at that time I was told that he wanted to remain anonymous. This was broadcast this morning on CBS. I have had the honor of meeting a few of our heros often and carrying a food tray or fetching something for them makes me feel good. I suppose at my age it's also a paternal feeling. It's a great feeling to be of help, although I know that they would prefer to do everything themselves. God bless our troops.
