The course material will get you playing well in short order.

Nice tracks to play with. Good video to watch hands and feet.

It is for E9.

No theory work.

I have the A and B pedals version. It is excellent for a beginner and answers several question of how things are done when playing fills behind a singer as well as moving up the neck.

There are 10 phrases (licks) of two measures each that you work with and play with the backing tracks. You start in the key of G and then he teaches you to transpose into A and other keys. Then he shows you how to connect multiple phrases to make a small solo.

I intend to buy the next series for the knee levers as soon as I finish the pedals. There are two DVDs with the instructions, a instruction book with the phrases in TAB and a CD with just the backing racks. So to be effective you need both a DVD and a CD player.

The backing track music is also on the DVD with the instructor playing, so you can also play along as he plays.

I have spent a lot of money on steel DVDs and these are the best if have found.
