I'm fixing up an Emmons SD-10 3x4 for a good friend and am looking for suggestions on what to put on the RKL. The rest of the steel is standard Emmons. I'm considering raise 1 to G# and lower 6 to F# or raise 2 to E. This kid will pick it up fast.
What do you think will be of most musical value? Thanks. |

For me, Doug, #1 F# to G#, #2 D# to E, #6 G# to F#(which I use alone, and along with a 4th floor pedal moving #5 and 10 from B to A.)
Fantastic changes I use all the time and wouldn't want to be without.
I also have #7 F# to G on my RKR along with #2 lowering and #9 D to C#. |

Mark Van Allen; Your RKR is the same as TW's. If you only Lowered your 2nd ½-tone, I think that would be the Seymour Z-Lever. _________________ <marquee> Go~Daddy~Go, (No), Go, It's your Break Time</marquee> L8R, jb

b0b, an awful lot of us have B-Bb on our vertical... I don't know how many people use that more than I do, but I use it a lot less than the changes I noted above. |
