You reckon if I was to slip in and quietly set down in the corner it would maybe be ok ? With any luck, I actually might be able to make this one (fingers crossed) - |

I am going to try to be there but can't promise that I will make it. I am playing in northern Mo. Friday night at the Barndoor Opry in Ravenwood, and North Town Opry in Edgerton, near Kansas City on Sat. night. We plan to stay with friends Sat. night and will drive back home on Sunday morning. Somebody said that anyone who would drive that much to play steel guitar just isn't right. I also heard that Arkansas passed a new law that if a steel player will put his bar and picks on the dash of his vehicle, he can park in handicap zones. I hope to see you all on Sunday. Vance |

I don't have that kind of travel problems anymore Vance ; If I'd drive that much I'd have to be taken out of the van by paramedics !! |

Vance, darlin', we will save you a handicapped parking spot. Some of the guys can peel you outta that van and wheel you inside. We'll tape that bar to your fingers if we have to. Don't make me get Norma Jean after you.
We love you and Miss Lila. Sure hope you can make it.
Charlie, that is great news. So glad you're better. We look forward to seeing you, friend.
Bill, like Norma said. Bring your steel. We need someone to keep Larry and Virgil in line. _________________ Publicity, S.S.S.G.C. |

Hey Vance I think that law was for all musicians!
Like Lynn said, if need be I'll borrow a wheelchair from the hospital and we'll all get behind and push you up the ramp. If you would let us do that, then I know you would be handicapped! (not physically either) You get it?? Have a safe trip! |
