Try to find a Tascam CD-GT1 Portable Guitar Trainer. You should be able to pick it up for around $149 and it will do everything you want it to do and do it affordably. I've had mine for a while and I use it often. Good luck - |

The Tascam device is the best. I've seen them discounted at Guitar Center for $129.00 new. This is your best bet. Can change pitch as well as slow down the track

Will, have you seen the Tascam CD-GT1 in the For Sale: Amps and Accessories section? Looks like a great buy to me.
I have one of these, BTW, and have found it very helpful.

Will, you can download Goldwave and it has a feature called Time Warp where you can select the part that you want to slow down and put it in a loop for as many times as you want. It does not change the pitch. Great program.

Will,
Go on ebay, try electronics or musical instruments, in search area type in TR-1000. The TR-1000 is a digital music study recorder. It will permit you to record a section of music in an infinite loop and slow it down without changing the pitch of the notes. You can then play it back until you can't stand it any more! The cost is fairly reasonable. |

Will, I have a RiffMaster that I never use. It works well, but I also have two other ways to slow down Cds. If you want it, $30 shipping included.
