Can anyone point me to the harmonic tuning steps for the standard C6th pedals and knee levers, including a C to C# raise, an A to Bb raise, and a G to F lower? I do know there are duplicates of some of these notes elsewhere, but many times duplicate notes are not tuned the same due to the context in which they are used (root changes). Awhile back, somebody posted the steps for just the C6th open strings, but no pedals or knees were included. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, the SGF is a great place to call home. Thanks. Zeke

C-6TH PEDALS - HARMONIC TUNING (D on top)

Notes: This is a start to tuning beatless. I’m sure there are adjustments & shortcuts I don’t know about. Not necessary to tune notes in this order. You will find a sequence that is fastest for you. Let me know if I made a mistake.

LOWERS

(KL 3RD string C-B) Harmonic 3rd string 24 fret to 2nd string 17 fret

(5th Pedal 5th string G-F#) Hit the KL that lowers 3rd string C-B and harmonic 5th string 24th fret to 3rd string 17th fret.

(6th Pedal 6th string E to Eb) (When I used to tune beatless I would tune this change to 440 on tuner because I wasn’t able to locate a reference note within the C-6th tuning – maybe a forum member will post the answer?) Tuning 6th string 16th fret harmonic to 5th string 24th fret harmonic didn’t work for me.

(8th Pedal 9th string F to E) Harmonic 9th string 24 fret to 6th string 12th fret

(8th Pedal 10th string C-A) Harmonic 10th string 24th fret
8th string at 12 fret.

RAISES

(8th Pedal 1ST String D-D#) Hit the 6th Pedal 6th string E to Eb and harmonic 10th string 12 fret to 6th sting 24th fret

(6th Pedal 2nd string E-F) Harmonic 2nd string 17th fret to 3rd string 24 fret.

(7th Pedal 3rd string C-D) Harmonic 3rd string 12 fret to 5th string 17th fret

(7th Pedal 4th string A-B) Harmonic 4th string 24 fret to 2nd string 17th fret

(8th Pedal 8th string C-C#) Harmonic 8th string 24th fret to 4th string 16th fret (I would tune 8th string C# sharper to where you hear beats and your chords sound in tune)

(4th Pedal A-B) Harmonic 8th string 24th fret to 4th string 12 fret

(5th Pedal 9th string F-F#) Hit the 5th Pedal and Harmonic 9th string 24th fret to 5th string 12th fret.

(5th Pedal 10th string C-D) Harmonic 10th string 24th fret to 1st string 12 fret

(KL 3rd string C-C#) Harmonic 3rd string 24th fret to 4th string 16th fret (I would tune C# sharper to where you hear beats and your chords sound in tune)

(KL 4th string A-Bb) Hit the 6th Pedal and Harmonic 4th string 17 fret to 2nd string 12 fret.

(KL 5th string G to F Lower) Hit the 6th Pedal and Harmonic 5th string 24th fret to 2nd string 12 fret.

Thanks Robert. This is the information I needed to start. I will work with these positions today. I only wish that as much help that is available here today was available back around 1960 or so. If I do find any alternate positions, I will post them to maybe help others in the same situation. Thank you for your help, it is very much appreciated. Zeke
