Gentlemen,
I have no sound when plugged into the high and low gain inputs of my 1 year old Nashville 112. Although my wife is apparently okay with this situation, i am looking for some help. There is normal volume/tone if i plug into the back of the amp(preamp in jack). i have sprayed compressed air into the jack inputs without any improvement.
Any suggestions would be appreciated before i talk with the Peavey folks. Thanks in advance. |

There are three different dirty jack possibilities. The Pre EQ patch, the Post EQ Patch and the Preamp out/Power Amp in.
Use a regular guitar cord and connect the Pre EQ Patch out to the Pre EQ patch in. If this doesn't fix it, do the same thing for the Post EQ and for the Preamp out/Power Amp in. Chances are one of those is the problem.
The "Return" (Power amp in) on each jack has an extra "normal through" contact and if one of those is either dirty or open it can cause the problem you are seeing. Sometimes just plugging in and out several times will take care of the problem. |

I tried the suggestions above without success.
Do you think that the preamp might be dead?
Any other suggestions before i call Peavey
would be appreciated> |

Gaeron,
If you purchased your NV112 new only a year or so ago, it is still under warranty and you should contact Peavey for help. Peavey has one of the longest warranty periods in the industry.
