Where is the TEXAS Steel Guitar Assn., get together going to be held this NEXT year? How much in advance must one reserve rooms (and WHERE?) and what about tickets to get in and out?

We're way up here in the pucker-brush and lack answers since we're out side the loop.

ANY Information will be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks for the info' George! I knew someone would come to my rescue.

And CC Johnson, after all of these years, that would be very nice to get to meet YOU!

I'm looking forward to it. Sally and I found the Texas program to be a more down to earth and all around friendly gathering than some of the others.
That is not to put down ANY of the 'other shows', but there definitely was a homey atmosphere in Texas that we both enjoyed.

Can't wait to get thar!

I'll be back at the March 2009 TSGA show in Dallas in the house band on rhythm guitar during the Non-Pedal Showcase. I'll also do a solo steel set.

This will be my third consecutive Texas show.

The Texas show is my favorite "non-100%-Hawaiian, non-100%-Non-Pedal" show. How's that for a qualification? Laughing

Seriously, it's a fun weekend and the music presented at both the non-pedal showcase and in the main concert hall is very diverse.

My pleasure, Ray.
Yep it's gonna be fun Gerald!
There'll be quite a few excellent players at the '09 Non Pedal Session.
I'll post the entire roster as soon once I have all the confirmations.
