There was a post awhile back about what do you put your steel on. I just purchased the greatest stand I think for the money.
It's an On Stage Pro Platform Keyboard Stand. It has a 395lb Capacity, It's adjustable from 26" to 43" in height, also 29" to 43.5 in width and the legs fold up for storage.
I bought it from Guitar Center, They took my order over the phone and it showed up on my door step And it was only $60.00 with shipping and tax it was $76.84
Here are some photos.

Did you need to do anything to keep the steel from moving on the stand? |

It comes with two rubber strips that have adhesive on one side that run the width on both sides. It's pretty secure.

Thats the same stand i use and recomended, I was very impressed, fortunately I got it much cheaper, even with shopping. Its light, well constructed and folds up in case one wishes to gig and take it along. (and it will support up to 300 lbs if I remember right) Enjoy my friend p.s you can also extend the legs and play standing up...chuckle _________________ "Steel players are like fine wine, we get better with age" |

I'm curious, how much did you pay for yours? Even at $60.00 I thought it was a good deal for what you get.
