Dear Couzin ,
My name is Cayla Ann Kelton and I am a native of the New Orleans area. I now live in Pearland, TX. At twelve years old, I am a veteran of the stage. I performed as Miss Mini Minnie Pearl for the Deep South Steel Guitar Shows , The Opening Act at The Wave-Fest, The Country Music Showdown, The Mississippi Steel Guitar Shows, The Long Hollow Jamboree in Goodletsville,TN The Louvin Brother’s Museum in Nashville, The Pecan Festival, and auditioned for America’s Got Talent and have been on Television and Radio ....just to name a few.
Also, I was Lillian Poillion at the Fourteenth Annual Halloween Tour by the Hancock County Historical Society held at the Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
I was a Stand-In and Autograph Girl (speaking part) in Robosapien movie. And, I was an extra in “I Love You Phillip Morris” (a church scene) with Jim Carey. Both movies will be released in 2009.
I have studied drama since I was six. My comical impersonation of Minnie Pearl is performed to honor the memory of someone so great in the Country Music History on The Grand Ole Opry.
Performing on the radio stations was a great experience to remember.
I have had the privilege of performing with Don Helms (Hank Williams), The Country Buddies (Ellis Olsen), Joe Wright (Texas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame and Charlie Pride), Buck Grantham (Jim Reeves), Bob Saxton (Chet Atkins Thumbpicker’s Hall of Fame), L.T.Zinn (International Steel Guitar Hall of Fame), Howard White (Recording artist with Hank Snow), Hank Corwin (Grand Ole Opry 35 years), Lynn Owsley (Steel Guitarist for Ernest Tubb),my BFF(Best Friend Forever) Bill Stafford and many more Hall of Fame members.
Please contact my grandmother, Barbara Kelton at the above numbers or miniminniepearl@aol.com . It would be a pleasure to talk with you about performing.

Little ' Miss Mini',Minnie Pearl,
You may not remember all her credits, but if you know where she will be performing, please go see her..You will be glad you did.Or if you are needing some talent for a show, talk to her.
I had the privelege of working some shows in Mississippi with her..she is a talented, and funny entertainer. She will win your heart in short order.
She is my buddy, and my friend..and I appreciate her very much. And I wish for her continued success, and life's richest blessings for her, and her family.
Peace and love to them..
RP...'come on '... |

Cayla, being President of East Texas Steel Guitar Association gives me the right to let you know that the doors to our monthly meetings are always open for you. It is a long way from Pearland but you might just be in the area on a given 3rd. Sunday and have time to visit with us. All the information is at http://www.etsga.org
We have our Christmas party on December 21 this year and you are sure welcome with your family to visit us.
I know that many will make friends with you in Texas because that's what Texans do. _________________ Charles Tilley ,

Cayla, the air went out all over the Mississippi coast when you and your family left for Texas. Thanks for the BFF category and that is one of my lifetime treasures.
Best to you and all in your wonderful family in your venture there in Texas. You will make many new friends in our steel guitar world there. Just think of us here once in a while and we will see you again before the end of the trail.
Hope you can meet with Charles Tilley and his East Texas Steel group. And for certain, I will be so proud to be able to say "...I knew you when..."
