Brad Paisley arrested at Nashville Airport
Brad Paisley was arrested over the weekend. His private plane was met by two police officers early Saturday morning at the Nashville International Airport and he was handcuffed immediately, reports TheBoot.com. "You've gotta be kidding me! I've never done anything wrong in my life," Paisley said to the officers after they told him they had a warrant for his arrest for his involvement in "some serious crimes."
Paisley was taken to the back of an unmarked police car. "We have a Mrs. Jewel Murray who has filed several charges against you in the state of Tennessee for excessive noodling," said the officer, sending Paisley into a fit of laughter as he realized this was all a joke. "Noodling? On the guitar?" Paisley asked the officers. "You know what, I am guilty."
Turns out Jewel was getting revenge on Paisley, who's been the instigator of several pranks on his Paisley Party Tour. And Jewel has been the victim several times, including an interruption of one of her sets by a man who stormed the stage, dressed as a condom. "This is absolutely as good as it gets," he admitted while still in handcuffs. "This is the best I've ever been had."
