Now Greg...
Why do you continue parading this beautiful piece of fantastic wood and incomprehensible mechanics in fron of my face? I am drooling all over myself and, trust me, that is one ugly sight that no human being should have to set their gaze upon. Should I be able to come up with some money, I had a few questions. 1) Is it mica with wood necks? 2) What is the current setup on it? 3) Do you have some pictures of its underbelly? And lastly, how much does it weigh?
That is one great looking Thomas, and from what I have read on the Forum they are fantastic steels.
Thanking you in advance,
Duncan

Duncan, It is Mica with wood necks! It is Emmons all the way on the set up.
LKL Raises E's
LKR Lowers E's
RKL Lowers 5 (used to lower 6) Raises 1 from F# To G#
RKR Raises (1F# G# I did that) and lowers 2 & 9
And only 77 pds. in the case.
I'll take some belly shots tonight and email them to you in the am. Send me your virtual email address through the forum email system. This is a sweet guitar. I'll never live long enough to get to the c 6 so I want a nice SD 10. Thanks Duncan. Greg

Fellow forumites, I just came back from playing a bit of a jam at the Eagles here in Greenville, OH, where I got to meet Greg Wisecup for the first time. He came down, sat in and played this beautiful Thomas D10. It is absolutely pristine. Looks as close to new as any steel I've seen. And Guys, the price is right on this one. Tone and then some, got to see Greg put it through its paces. This can't last long, and wouldn't have lasted through the day, had I not just paid several hundred more for a single neck. Gonna make some steeler real happy.
Greg, really injoyed meeting you, getting to see your Thomas and swaping licks. It was a good day, hope you can make it back sometime. DS

Thanks Dick. I had a great time with you guys! Dick your a great guy and I hope I didn,t "overplay my invitation." This is a great sounding, playing, looking, guitar. I know things are are slow out there but they won't always be. Don't miss a good buy on a wood neck D 10.
Thanks, Greg

Hey Greg,
I am still looking at all the ways that I can figger out to be able to afford your beautiful Thomas. I'm still stuck at which steel should I sell to finance the purchase.
Thanks for the extra pictures, you are a champ.
Duncan

I'm not professing to know much about anything other than the brand I play, but I'll say this:

"Times must truly be bad for this one to stay here for as long as it has, without someone grabbing it up. Including myself."

In contrast, looking at prices asked for the same brand/s here and elsewhere. This is what I'd definitely call a Great Investment for anyone.

Sorry Greg, if I had the extra money to put out, it sure wouldn't be sitting here. "Nor would I be giving it away."

Thanks guys! This is a lot of guitar for the money. Based on what your getting vs $ I'm lucky that I'm not in a position that I have to sell it or I would be a little nervous. It still does exactly what I tell it to do. I just think I would rather carry around an SD 10. If I have to play this one till things break; I don't mind at all! My next guitar won't sound or play any better. It will be just a bit lighter! Smile
