Holding pattern? I suppose it would be nice to have something to hold onto. It's bologna and beans here 7 days a week. The economy is the worst I've seen it in my lifetime. _________________ Show Pro D10, Session 400 |

Yeah, funny how the economy tanks when the illiterate American public elects an illiterate for president. The party of corporate welfare and socialism for the rich is about to be dumped. _________________ Everyone in the world has two jobs: 1) whatever they do for a living; and 2) music critic. |

Got any cheese to go along with that "Whine"???
Getting back on the subject of this post... of which I'm wondering... why is it in the for sale section?
Anyway, I think there have been some good deals recently on the forum. In a recent post, we discovered that many forumites have a lot of guitars. If things are really that bad, wouldn't we see a "thinning of the herds" and there would be many more steels for sale?
If I was eating balogna and beans, I wouldn't be asking more than retail for a used guitar. Oh well, price reflects the time it takes to sell something. |

Alan, I know its tempting but lets leave the politics out of it. It never ever goes well and no ones mind or opinion is ever changed on the internet.
Its very early in this unfortunate economic downturn.
To early i think to point to anything as evidence of how it might affect gear prices and availability one way or another. It does however stand to reason that used gear will go down in price and even then be harder to sell as people have less spare capital, and my personal guess would be that we will begi to see this shortly after people recover from the intial shock, assess their assetts, and decide on a course of action.
Heres wishing the best for us all. |

Jim,
I don't know about you, but bologna
and dried beans have been a staple
all my life. I was raised on them.
Even in my prosporus years I felt
cheatedd if I had to go without them
for any length of time.
In my opinion it don't get no better than fried Bologna pinto or any other dried bea or pea with corn bread An Onion.
To each his own but sounds to me like
your doing prety good LOL _________________ BMI S10 3&5
