Iconic voice of the 60's.
Such hits as
"Baby I Need Your Loving,"
"Reach Out (I'll Be There)"
"I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)."
"Shake Me, Wake Me" (1966);
"Bernadette" and "Standing in the Shadows of Love" both'67

Produced 20 Top-40 hits over 10 years, most with staying power.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and has
a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

A voice you instantly recognized.
And one that always got through to you.

And these guys did it into one mic as easily as four.

I was stunned by Levis' voice as a kid. Tone like a saxophone.
according to the obit, he was a cousin of Jackie Wilson.
