| I know this subject has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find it. I would like to know where I can buy biab with some preset songs. I saw a booth in Dallas a couple of years ago that had this program, but I lost his address. If anyone can give me some information I would appreciate it. Thank you Larry |

Larry do a web search on Steve Tunstall music. He has lots of BIAB tracks that are free. Just right click on them and save as target and then hit save.Hope this helps Billy

Larry -
The booth in Dallas was more
than likely 'Big Jim' Baron.
Some years he is at the
ISGC in St. Louis, too.
He handles the Band In A Box
line and, being a steelplayer
as well, is very helpful when
you need help or advice with
using it.
He also offers a CD with several
thousand songs already arranged
for BIAB. Also lot's of Gospel songs.

I'll second Russ's words. I have had dealings with Jim Baron and a nicer, more knowledgeable guy you won't find.
He had BIAB songs and styles for sale on CD a while back. I bought it..something like 5000 songs and 100 styles.
Contact Jim here on the forum via email and he will take care of you.
Edited to add: Jim is also somewhat of BIAB expert and he will give you some coaching right there on the phone! |

No way was i gonna program 4000 songs and thanks to Jim, i didnt have to..hehe.
BIAB is a great practice tool. |

I've already forgotten WHAT they're called but it's in the new 2008.5 edition of BIAB.....and it costs
$59.00 or somewhere in the naborhood.
Is it really recommended for someone that has BIAB 10 with the 11.0 upgrade? WHAT MORE would one be getting? |

I went with the 'Boss jamstaion JS-5' 100 user presets, and you can build your own chord structures.
Preset ones are in there too.
We also use this for our live work, it has those pheonominal roland tones!

Ray it's called "All That Jazz",and yeah the down load is $59...$5 more will get the DVD mailed to you..Down load with DSL is about 18 hrs,so it's smart to get the hard copy..PJ... |

...plus, if you have a hard disk crash or you just build a faster computer you'll be glad you had the software on CD.
In all reality, I've had BIAB since it first came out on floppies, and I've bought each upgrade plus many of the add-on packs, yet I very rarely use it. All I find useful with MIDI are rhythm tracks, for which I use MidiSoft Recording Session and built them up myself, then I add real rhythm guitar, bass, etc. from real instruments. |
