I am a stickler for correct spelling, so I ask you: is the word spelled copedEnt or copedAnt? Have seen it both ways about 50/50 over the years.
Thanks.

I think it should be updated to codepedent. ("My ZB D-10 has 8 phobias and 4 enablers.") _________________ "Gopher, Everett?" |

I like it!
"My right knee right enabler helps, or perhaps allows me to compensate for the guitar's innate inability to play a b7." Or something.
Copedency is a long road and a slippery slope. _________________ Those that say don't know; those that know don't say.--Buddy Emmons |

"I am a stickler for correct spelling"
This could mean you are a pedant then:
A pedant, or pรฆdant, is a person who is overly concerned with formalism and precision, or who 'makes a show of learning'. The corresponding (obsolete) female noun is pedantess.
Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedant
So if you are a pedant that would make copedant someone who supports your quest for correct spelling (someone like me). |
