I had the pleasure of hearing and playing with a very fine player in our steel guitar community this past weekend in Amarillo, Texas. Larry Hamilton sat in with my band at the Western Horsemen in Amarillo. This guy knocked our socks off with some of the most tasty steel guitar playing I've heard in a very long time. Larry had tone quality to kill for and technique to burn. If you are in the west Texas area don't pass up the opportunity to hear Larry. He's a first class player.

Dan, Thanks for the very kinds words. I had a great time playing with you and the guys. Easy to play with and GREAT REAL COUNTRY MUSIC. Folks, if you get a chance to hear the "Clear Creek Band" in your area, take my advise and go hear them. Real boot scootin music. Dan is a very fine and acomplished steel player himself. He makes his GFI ULTRA just sing. Go see them.
Dan, looking forward to seeing you at the Ray Price show here in a couple weeks. _________________ Keep pickin', Larry |
