3, all MSAs, 2 classics (one maple and one mica) and the Milly. All U-12s with the same copedant. I'd like to get one another Milly, and convert the maple classic to a dedicated C6.

I also have a 3 neck stringmaster, a cat can, and 2 halves of a double neck stringmaster that has been converted to 2 separate instruments, one with a Hipshot trilogy bridge, the other with 14 strings, a 7 string tuning with octave strings like a 12 string guitar.

I own one, in todays economy I feel lucky to have it. I consider anyone with more than 2 pedal steels a guitar hoarder. Smile

The question is, how many do we actually need?

The answer is "one more." Evil Twisted

Just my Linkon D-10, 8 pedals, two knee levers. That's all I need right now. If and when I get good enough to own more than one, I'll get another one...and I'll want it to be a Shobud!

In order of their appearance in my life:

1978 Franklin SD-10
1975 Sho-Bud Pro I
Gold Tone lap
2002 ZumSteel Stage One

I have had a few Emmons' come and go... but the above are my keepers.

(The Franklin and Sho-Bud can be seen in the Photobucket link in my sig.)

Hoarder in the parlance of some. Contributor and advisor according to others:

http://www.museumofmakingmusic.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=135&Itemid=41

It'd take a while to do a count but, more or less, 7 psgs, 10 resonators, 25 Weissenborn/Kona/Knutsen or kopies, 30-40 table/lap steels, no apologies.

Most recent ebay acquisition: the book "Ghosty Men" about the Collyer Brothers. (They didn't lead a western-swing band.)
