Not sure whether it was called the Dynamic at the time, but would like to find the single neck 8-string version of the Grand Console that looks like this:

These do show up on ebay on occasion. I was unable to meet the substantial price. I loved my 6 string dynamic, and would love to have another as well as an 8 string. This is one of my favorite Nationals.

Yeah, I watched the pictured one go on eBay last month for more than I wanted to pay at the time. Having since become very fond of a 6-string Dynamic myself—easily my favorite of a handful of steels I've worked with—I'd really like to get the 8-string version.
