On a very sad note - I just received a call from Larry King that the steel guitar world has lost another friend and great player, Ivan Ward. Ivan passed away last evening. His services will be Saturday in Siloam Springs, AR. On behalf of the OSGA we wish to extend our prayerful sympathies to Zelpha and Ivan's family.

John, on behalf of the Kansas Steel Guitar Association members, we also send our deepest sympathies to the Ivan Ward family. Ivan was a true friend and will be greatly missed by a lot of people. Keep them in your prayers.
