Don't know the player. But the tune is called, "But Beautiful." Love is funny, but it's sad. It's a good thing or it's bad......

And that was a great rendition. Fess up, now. Is that you playing? And don't you really know the name of the tune?

Very beautiful song and rendition. Maybe it is Buzz, but it sure has shades of Reece!

Hi Baz
Yeh, Buzz for sure. His footprint all over it.
What superb playing.
It's as if he's sat in a bar late at night, raining outside, no one in but Lauren bacall looking gorgeous in black and white, sat on a high stool and staring at herself in the mirror, drink in hand. The bartender cleaning glasses, bored. Buzz in a corner just playing for himself, reflecting the atmosphere.
aaaaaahhhhhh.
what ! ! where am I ? ? Steady boy.

Barry

It's playing like that that makes me want another double neck to take up C6 again. Seems like I hear Marice Anderson, and a little Julian Tharpe influence. WOW!!!

But Beautiful

Written by: Jimmy Van Heusen
Written by: Johnny Burke (Francis J. B.)

Love is funny or it's sad
Or it's quiet or it's mad
It's a good thing or it's bad
But beautiful

Beautiful to take a chance and if you fall, you fall
And I'm thinking I wouldn't mind at all

Love is tearful or it's gay
It's a problem or it's play
It's a heartache either way
But beautiful

And I'm thinking if you were mine, I'd never let you go
And that would be but beautiful, I know.

Love is tearful or it's gay
It's a problem or it's play
It's a heartache either way
But it's beautiful

And I'm thinking if you were mine, I'd never let you go
And that would be but beautiful, I know

Larry: I checked bOb's list and it doesn't show up there. Could you say where you got his CD ? BTW: I have a 6 year old grandson who has been wanting to be a train engineer since he turned two. His favorite engines are black (NS) but he is always elated to see an orange one going through Macon.

Thanks for your help on this fantastic rendition of one of my all time favorites !

Regards, Paul

Paul, I bought one from him in Dallas about 4 years ago, and a couple more when I went to see him in Las Vegas.

Glad the youngun' likes trains. So do I. Been working for BNSF,(former Santa Fe side) for 31 years.
I am an engineer so I have a life size toy to play with.

I have another question about this song... The first two chords of the intro are very familiar to me but for the life of me, I cannot say what song or who used them before. Anybody have a clue about this ???
