Occassionally I have been supplied with a Fender Twin when I've flown to a gig in western Canada & it sounds bad,so now I rent a steel amp or pay $100.00 to fly mine out. Do you think I could bring my Profex 11 & plug it into the power amp section & get a better sound ? Rene |

I'd try it if the Twin has a power amp in as the speaker and preamp can alter the sound. |

Thanks Mike...does anyone know if the Fender amps have a poweramp in/preamp out like the Peaveys? |

No, you'll have to get out of the all-tube category of Fenders and into something like the tube+solid state line (i.e. a Cyber~Twin) if you want all the fancy ins & outs.
The all-tube Customs and the Reissues are a rehash of the old tube designs which had none of those features. |
