I never saw the TV show, but DeVere Adamson (Pedal Steel), owned DeVere's Music Store in DeMoines for many years.

Did DeVERE ever make it really big time?

Is he still with us?

Does he still have the music store?

So many good musicians had great breaks but we, the hopefuls and hangers-on, never really got our BIG DAY!

Roger, share more with us, please.

Ray, Devere is still with us but closed the store a few years back. I think he still does a little business out of his house in Indianola Iowa. He also works with Maurry Goode and the Good Times I believe. Devere was a monster push-pull tech.

DeVere and wife, Ruby were at our July Super Event II in Branson this year and I swear, they're both getting younger all the time !! They are both friends of my wife and I from years past up in Iowa and we still stay in touch all though not as often as we should. Kevin Clemons is one of the young protoges from Iowa that DeVere had a great hand in his early years. They don't come any better than Ruby & DeVere--they're a slice right off the top - Smile
