The Bishop's picking and
bar work are so fast it leaves a blur!!!
Nice pickin' Bishop. I enjoyed it much.
Thanks for posting it, Del Ray.

Great way to start off the morning!
Did I notice the Bishop only using his thumb and index finger? No pick on the middle finger? I'll admit I didn't notice for the whole arrangement but the more I looked it seemed he's only using the thumb and index finger. Is it me or is that unusual? _________________ Steve |

Plenty of players use only the thumb and index, some just the thumb.
The Bishop has addressed this in his posts from a few months ago. He hasn't been seen here since, and had some squaking about silliness that probably discouraged him from further participation. I hope he returns. |

Hey guys,
I`m still here, just been looking and listening. I was just over in the Recording section, picking up a few ideas for the studio, I`m putting together.
To try to answer your inquiry, I do play with a thumb, and two finger picks, but because of the style of picking, that I play, and having sensitive finger tips, I play most of the time with, the thumb, and the first finger pick. The middle finger pick usually cramps, or causes me to have cramps. As Clint Eastwood says:"a man has to know his limitations". (smile) Thanks for asking!

The video seems to have been removed.
Very glad to see it back in place. It was well worth restoring.

Another new fan here, Bishop Hall. Listened to several more videos of yours on YouTube and Stand By Me was excellent. Loved People Get Ready, too. _________________ ...but you are the music / while the music lasts (TS Eliot) |

Hi Peter! (Lindelauf)
Glad to hear from you there in BC! And I am glad to know you appreciate my efforts to make somebody smile, and have a little joy in their lives. Because that is all of what I am about, with this music that I try to play. Thank you for your encouragement, it means a lot. Be blessed my new friend!
