Does anybody know about a old Sho-Bud.It has red pickups and not the gumby key head.Has the big pedals,I think it was made between the permament and the fingertip.

Got pics? My first thought upon reading "not the gumby key head" is that it's not actually a Shobud, but another guitar that looks like a Shobud. All my Shobuds have gumby heads. '59 thru '74. Later models did not have gumbys.

And permanents were made well up to the latter part of the 60's, along with fingertips. There were no other "models" between them. If it really is a Sho Bud from -63, then it is a permanent, and the decal would read "Sho Bud Madison, Tennessee"
