Fans of retro Polynesian culture should all head to Las Vegas this Saturday for the huge MONDO TIKI Festival at the Hard Rock Hotel. www.mondotiki.com
You're sure to hear some HOT Hawaiian steel. I'll be playing my beloved 1937 Rickenbacher bakelite with the headlining band APE, poolside at the Hard Rock from 8:30-10PM. I'll also be selling CD's and other merchandise from APE as well as from my 1930's-styled acoustic Hawaiian band, The WAIKIKI STEEL WORKS. I'll be at the Tiki Exhibitors area from 2-6PM, so all you non-pedal steel nuts make sure to come by and give me some aloha, eh?
Mahlo, Frank

Sorry, Frank. The intro to the website you listed took me by surprise. Quite novel. So how was the festival?
