Does anyone have or have you run across tabs for Whiter Shade of Pale by Procol Harum. Ideally for E9. Also, if someone knows if this has even been done by someone on pedal steel, I'd like to see/hear what it sounds like.

I may not sound good, I just don't wanna sound bad.

Chuck, I have recorded it on pedal steel. It's on my CD, "Home, James". Details at: www.JimCohen.com. You can also hear it at: www.MySpace.com/jimcohensteelguitarist

Sorry, no tab.

Michael, thanks for digging that out of the archives!! I'll start working on that set of tabs, i'm still pretty new at this, so I could be a while. In that link you gave was this link, which is still working http://www.blueyze.com/whitershade.html?a0eb1900 It takes you to a site which has the lyrics and also will play a Procol Harum version of the song.

Thanks to Drew Howard for tabbing it!.

It is also interesting that Jim Cohen is in that thread and is mentioning the fact that he will be putting Whiter Shade of Pale on his next CD. Jim gave a link to his version of that in his response to me here in this thread. Small world I guess.

Thanks again!

-Chuck
