I think that's what it's called.



It's got an early Rick horseshoe pickup.

Does anyone have any info on this model, like who made it? Did any well-known players of the era use one?

George Gruhn says Rickenbacher made the pickup, but he is not sure if Rick built the guitar for another distributor or simply supplied the PU to another builder. There is very little info available on this guitar. It sure is a beauty!

The one below is pictured on the HSGA web site. It says the guitar was made in Chicago, 1930s. The volume knob looks like a Fender replacement.

I believe there was one on Ebay a few months or so ago. Wonder how they sound?? Is that one yours Richard??
