This stand is similar to the stand that came with a Rick D-16 that I almost bought years ago. Of course, that one was for a Double Necker. This 'un's for a Single.

I have one identical to that one. They are scarce for sure. Mine came from L T Zinn, and I had to make a few parts for it. I had one in the old days, but lost it somewhere.
They are good for frypans and bakelites, because of temp/tuning issues when played on the lap. |

Somebody realized how rare these are, and made an offer the seller didn't refuse. That's why I posted the item. On a Rick thread, I think most of the guys thought I was full of it. But, several years ago, I almost bought a Rick D-16, a double eight. It had an original stand that looked very much like this one. It even had a little Rick plaque on it. Very rare indeed! |
