I've beeen listening to one of my steel guitar hero's new CD HonkyTonkMemories.com. Incredible playing, very soulful and tasteful. If you like pure honky-tonk steel guitar and then some, you'll love this project. It's agotta have also. Very heavy Day, Emmons and some Mooney influence, shake it all up and out comes the Dickiemeister. I've had the pleasure of sitting down with him and picking with him on several occasions and he still leaves me in a steel guitar coma!
Congratulations on your new project and to one of the most soulful players the, "Dickiemeister". With Flores on fiddle, what can you say, he is totally awesome as is our old buddy Dewayne Bowman on this project also.
John Buffington,
VP OSGA

Dittos to all of the above, John! Dicky gave me a signed copy the other week and it is packed with a ton of that hard-core stuff a lot of us crave. Highly recommended! Too bad he couldn't get a good fiddle player for the record....

I have to agree with John, this CD is a must if you like sweet country playing. Dickie is no slouch in the singing area as well. His voice is so pretty on the Last Waltz. I haven't taken it out of the CD player all weekend.

Snail Mail has lost mine. However I know it is awesome, as I heard a rough cut some time back. Can't wait to get the real deal.

I have to agree with everything John and Tommy said…..listened to this CD all the way to Bryan and back from Houston and just couldn’t get enough. This is just a wonderful set of tunes played by a master…..don’t let this pass you by y’all. It’s definitely a must have…………Russ
