I watched the UPS driver turn the driveway today .
Man what a rock solid steel
Tone & sustain to die for even got a Rains hat & a couple of Garys CDs
This steel is crystal clear from fret one to the pick up. I cant seem to get away from playing it all day.
I think my search is over,,its a keeper !!! _________________ steelguitarguy.com |

Richard,
That is beautiful, what pickup did you have put in it. I've got one coming that was shipped today. It is an SD10 Spirit Model that has an E66 in it. I'm so excited, just can't wait to get my hands on the thing.
Looks like the Rains are moving in.
Happy pickin,
DS |

Richard, the more you play that Rains the more you are gonna like it. I also have the 705 on SD-10 and it is an excellent combination with the Rains. Enjoy. |

Very nice Richard. I've never played one but I've always fancied a Rains. Read great things about them.
Oh well, best start saving. |

|

Sent Gary a check today for my Rains. Just like yours Richard (I guess - got the 3 x 4). Had to stretch to buy it. Don't even have an amp, but can play through my lexicon with headphones 'till I can get the NV112. I've played guitar since 1961 (rock, classical & jazz - lots of fingerstyle) and actually had a Sho-Bud Maverick (3 peds only) in early 70's. Always loved the sound of the PSG. A few weeks ago I heard some great PSG and a light bulb went off. I've been wanting to play one for years - just didn't realize it. The more I thought about it, the more I realized I should have switched to PSG years ago. It's even made me start knockin' off the rust in my guitar playin'. |
