Sorry for the Hankey'd title. Very Happy

I have been trawling through various web sites and would like to thank 3 people in particular for making available free tuition to the masses via the internet.

Micky Adams, Bobbe Seymour and Greg Cutshaw. All three are helping to create interest in pedal steel for those who are thinking about taking it up. In addition, they are helping many existing players who may have hit a plateau and want to expand their knowledge and repertoire. I think it is really commendable what these guys (and others) are doing for free.

There's enough Hankeyness there to start a never-ending thread. Enough Hankeying around - thank you so much Micky, Bobbe and Greg for all that you do and have done.

Respectfully,

Richard

I agree. Thanks to Mickey, Greg and Bobbe for the expertise and time spent to prepare the lessons and/or tabs. They are a great help to me on my "steel guitar ride". Kudos, fellas!!

Mickey and Bobbe have given me a lot thru their videos.
Their attitude, approach, and styles, have kept me on the right track, when this "newbie" reached a dead end.
thanks
Rick

PS:
how could I forget to add Ricky Davis !!

Yessirrree.... Their generosity gives me more help, material, information, guidance, and encouragement, than I can put to use in several lifetimes.

Wish there were more hours in a day and more days in a week.

Thanks to all of you.

Agreed, better add Ricky Davis to the list.

And while we're at it, let's not forget to thank Erv Niehaus for all his great tabs.

If you like Mickey and Bobb's freebies, buy something from them, that's kind of the point.

I just read this after reading that wacky thread Bill Hankey wrote. I made mention of Greg Cutshaws recent contribution only to get an equally wacky reply back. Oh well Rolling Eyes. Thank you to anyone who contributes to this forum

Hi Wayne, althought its very difficult to decode Mr. Hankeys writing, I took his response to mean "just cause it was free doesnt mean its good. Check the quality of the person giving the advice." so basically, an insult. maybe I am too sensitive and interpreted it wrong but thats how i read it. Mad

I agree whole heartedly and would also like to give my thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum.
