Skip is a "Steelers" steeler. A great & personable guy! He plays ALL types of music extreamly well. He is also a great instructor. At last count..I think.. Skip had about 5 Steels and too many guitars to count! His house is a vitual Pedal Steel Archive with numerous audio, video, and printed material on the Pedal Steel Guitar. If ya'll get a chance to see Skip in the Eastern North Carolina area..be sure to do so. You won't regret it.

Skip is a good friend to have. He takes the instrument seriously and is doing what he can to promote it. I hope to visit you all again in the near future.

I especially enjoyed Skip's playing this weekend and we didn't even get to hear him play some of his best stuff up front but I did listening to him on the side.
