There are so many "thank yous" that Dottie and I need to say that I am sure a few will be missed and I apologize ahead of time.
Thanks to Mr. DeWitt Scott and his family for their efforts in putting on the convention for 37 years. Thank you for the invitation to be a part of the show and all the helpful attention from the family and staff over the weekend. We had a great time and I couldn't believe how fast the time seemed to go by.
At this point let me also add congratulations to the Hall of Fame inductees and their families: My friend Norm Hamlet, Mr. Don Warden and the late and great Julian Thorpe. Thank you Mr. Scott for making the ceremony very special.
Thanks to the band who are all great musicians and great friends to boot -- you all did a superb job! Roy and Barbara Rosetta and Paul and Dee Polish have been some of the nicest friends anyone could ask for and we value you all very much. Russ Weaver is a great steel player and all-around musician and thanks for playing the bass so well. David Russell is my new good friend. Thanks David for the super job. Bobby Caldwell, your friendship and kindness will always be appreciated. Your guitar playing never ceases to knock me out. I even had to stand up for one of your solos! You are ever in our thoughts and prayers.
Thanks to Johnny Bush for allowing me to play steel on his set and for all the help over the years. Thanks too, John, for singing the duet with Dottie and playing drums with me on "At E's".
Charlie and Margit and the staff and band in the Derby room were very gracious to allow me the opportunity to play one of their super Derby steels. It plays great and sounds great too. Thank you to all the artists who took the time to sing with us.
To the nice folks in the Fulawka room, thanks for letting Dottie and me be a part of Leona's set.
Jim Stahlhut was very kind to invite me to try to hack my way through a set in the jazz room and I appreciate his patience with my performance. Thanks to Jim Cohen for twisting my arm and to all the players who had jazz sets, I thoroughly enjoyed every one of you.
Dr. Wayne Yakes, thank you for the wonderful hospitality and the nice words of encouragement. Dottie and I are both looking forward to seeing you again soon.
Thanks Herb Steiner, Louie Hallford and all the TSGA gang for your loyal friendship.
Thanks a lot to the Lashleys and all the Emmons Guitar Company staff for all the support over the years and the great Emmons guitars I have played all my life. I really enjoyed seeing you all.
Thanks always to Buck and Mitzi Grantham for all the fantastic pictures.
Thank you Bert Rivera for remembering my dad!
Thanks to all who came by the booth for a visit and to those who purchased anything we really appreciate your support and hope you enjoy the material.
And last but certainly not least, thanks a million to my lovely and talented bride for all the great singing and hard work to make our booth nice and professional looking and making the weekend even more enjoyable. Thanks honey!

Jim and Dottie,
What a pleasure it was to work with you at the St. Louis show. Jim is such a great addition to any steel show and has long been, in my opinion, one of the most talented steel guitarist I have ever had the pleasure to work with. And what can we say about Dottie except that she is a great singer, super lady and so very supportive of her "main man" JL. We are very proud to call Jim and Dottie our friends and we're looking forward to the next time.
Best wishes,

It was great to see you and Dottie at the Show, Jim. As usual your set was outstanding. Paul always enjoys working with you and we are still playing "catch-up" from the show and since I am posting this, I must be more caught up than he is, but we won't tell him that.
Hope to see you both soon.

Jim,
I just love that '65 wraparound you play. I can still remember seeing it all apart at Mike Cass's house several years ago. That's when he was rebuilding it for you. You sounded absolutely fantastic on it.
