I had one years ago. It was a great guitar amp with two separate channels for switching clean to dirty. Lots of power too.
When I played steel through it, I realized how great of a steel amp it was. The tone blew me away. Maybe not enough power for a loud steel gig, but smaller, quite venues it's perfect. I really think Peavey was using a combination of the 130 and Nashville series amps, to come up with the N-ville 112.
My 130 was stolen and I haven't run across another.
So, if you don't buy it, let me know Smile

Ron,

A picking buddy of mine has a great sounding Special 130; it has a 12" JBL in it. Mike is a Chet picker, very picky about his tone, and his tone is indeed very good with the 130.

It is great for guitar, not too good for steel. I've tried playing my MSA through it and it sounds very thin.

Still a GREAT amp for guitar. Bill Duncan

I modded one recently for Tommy Dodd. Nice sounding amp!

Try a blank jack or short guitar cord into the footswitch input and it will switch to the normal channel for you
