This unit is a must when using multiple ADAT recording devices. We bought it new and it was only used on a few sessions before we changed formats. Comes with 30-ft. 9-pin sync cable, IEC power cable, and Original Reference Manual. Here is the description:
Alesis BRC ADAT Master Remote Control
The Alesis BRC:
- Uses sample-accurate sync to connect up to 16 ADATS.
- Has standard transport controls in addition to Auto-Punch, Looping, Pre-Roll, and Post-Roll controls.
- Will generate MIDI Time Code (MTC) as well as generate and read all six SMPTE Time Code formats. It also includes 48kHz Word Clock input and output as well as a video sync input (accepts composite as well as black burst video inputs).
- Save setup information to the beginning of each ADAT tape for later retrieval.
- Has two inputs for the Alesis ADAT LRC (not included) for additional transport controls.
-May be rack mounted by removing the top, bottom, and side panels.
