Last night I saw the musical guest on Dave Letterman, knida. I didn't see the start or the end, so I didn't hear who it was, but he had a steel player, looked like he was playing a Sho-Pro. Does anyone who it was? Sounded great.

That was Randy Houser with Smith Curry on the pedal steel. Smith is also a great dobro player.

Sorry I missed it... You don't see Smith's name here much but he's done a lot to take steel and dobro into areas where people don't expect it, touring with the likes of Kid Rock and Erasure. His country resume isn't too shabby either!

Thanks to Kyle, too... It's up on Youtube if you want to see what a greenburst Showpro looks like, and also see proof that great, soulful country singers still exist.
Get your order in with Jeff on a Showpro: the wait isn't getting shorter any time soon!

Hey Smith, Nice to see a fellow climber. I used to live to climb a number of years ago. I rock climbed, aid climbed, mountaineered, ice climbed. I did half-dome in Yosemite in 3 days. I don't climb anymore however due to arthritis. Your photos on your website sure to bring back some memories though!

Hey, Smith. I met you when we opened for "Halfway to Hazard." (I think) It was in Minnesota last spring. I haven't heard of them since. They must have went the rest of the way to the hazard, eh?

Hi Michael! I did the Tim Mcgraw tour with them this summer, but two months of touring is enough for me! They're cutting some new tunes and playing county fairs etc. Great singers though.
