This post is for you guys who have owned or still own
the Steel Man 500. How many wats, size, weight and
how it sounds for steel. Also, did they come with
a BW speaker?
Thanks in advance for any info you can give me.
Jim

Never owned one but from an ad in the old Steel Guitarist magazine: 200 watts rms output. JBL K130 4 ohm 15" speaker. Active gain, bass and treble control, separate active mid control. Plus a 5 band active eq. [slide controls as in a graphic eq panel.] FX loop.

I believe they are similar in size to, perhaps narrower than, the NV400, but as I recall, they're a bit weightier. The size and weight are not listed in their ad. Obviously designed for steel guitar and had a nice sound as I recall. Hope this is of some help. I know there are several folks here who are more familiar with them.
