Question for you electronic wizzards !!! I have a stereo power head amp and wonder if I can run both outputs thru one speaker ?? I want to run a mellow sound thru one side and a sharper treble thru the other and then mix them into the one speaker !! I would rather not carry two speakers around . Is this possibly O.K. ??? Or do I need the two speakers ?? I won't try it till I know if it will blow up or melt the speaker !!??? Eddie "C" ( the old non-pedal geezer ) |

If you do it, say goodbye to your amp. |

It's not a wise thing to do to an amp. It will either destroy it or damage it. However, Peavey solid state amps will see the dead short and shut down to keep from burning themselves up. |

if you are using a walker stereo amp, all you have to do is plug one 4/ohm speaker into the right speaker output. it is designed to do get the same effect as 2/speakers.if you look in the amps for sale section you will see mine, a friend of mine helped build the cabinet an it sounds the same as 2/cabinets stacked.....thanks jack |
