edited: to say I just noticed that Randy Mason had already posted in "Our Extended Family". Didn't mean to start another thread, but don't know how to delete a whole thread, and anyway for all he contributed to music he deserves to be in this part of the forum too...

One half of the most recorded, and probably most influential rhythm section of the last 50 years is gone. The other half is taking it pretty hard.
