Jon,
Great choice you've made. The Fender Stringmaster for my taste has to be the very best non-pedal guitar ever designed. They have a TONE OF THEY'RE OWN, which has never been matched on any other steel guitar. The picture below is the '58 Stringmaster we got my wife back last November. After a new paint-job and clean-up it now looks factory fresh and has a tone to die for. Good luck in your search, I know you'll love it. Nick Reed

I have been in love since 1949 when I first played through a Custom, and then along comes
the fabulous sound of Leo's work of art, the Stringmaster.Actually I love both Custom and Stringmaster so I guess one would refer to me
as a Fender Bigamist. If It's a Fender take a test drive and see how it handles the curves,beleive me you will have a tough time deciding. Good Luck.
