Ron, do you tune your E's on the E9th to 440; 441 or 442? I would appreciate any info you were able to give on how you approach tuning.
The reason I ask this is because from the first time I heard you live at the ISGC you had the best tone and in-tune performance I had experienced. Not to mention your amazing interpretations of songs you played.
I think you have a nice full but crystal clear midrange and high register which I'm sure helps with the perfectly in-tune sound.

Ron is always in tune. I don't know if it is just his ear or the way he tunes. I always look foward to working with the "MASTER". Bobby. |

Bobby, although I'm nowhere near the guitar player that you are, I've been fortunate enough to play behind Brother Ron, and you are 110% right! Ron is one of the easiest, and most pleasant guys that I've evr palyed guitar with. And the funniest! |

I have played two steel shows that Ron also played and got to spend some time with him. I already feel that I know him and consider him a friend. He is so easy to talk to and he even taught me about strawberries on homemade bisquits!! He sure knows what's good. He also plays really fine. Ron, if you happen by this thread, HI!
