Hey Bob,

I just may have to take a 2nd mortgage on the house! I really want a Universal and this Fessy sounds very neat. Can you send me pics? Or, are pics posted somewhere?

Where is the guitar located?

Thanks,

Johnne Lee

Well, Bob, it sounds like I'm gonna be outta' the runnin' real quick here! I am interested seeing the instrument anyway. (I bought an extra lottery ticket yesterday, and I'm callin' the back in the morning.) ; -]

Take care,

Johnne Lee

Somebody please buy this beautiful Fessy. The fact that it is just sitting here unsold is driving me even crazier than usual and stirring up a horrible case of terminal bloodlust... of sorts.

A few years back I was looking for a steel, and found little known secret in these Fessy guitars...They might not have the big name of other companies, but their craftsmanship and sound is some of the best that I've seen. I ended up purchasing one of Jerry's personal or signature guitars, a little blue lacquer D-10 I'd dare say that if you ever have owned a Fessy you will always want to have one in your collection.

Mac:
I quite agree.Jerry makes a quality instrument and they sound superb.I know a few players of vintage push/pulls,including myself, who have had or currently play a Fessy, which should tell you something about the tone of these fine guitars.I don't know too many guitar builders that are making a high quality 13 string instrument.
A number of you have asked about the year of the guitar, which I believe to be around 2000.The S/N is 130-185.Jerry, if you're out there, maybe you could help us out.
For those thinking of making the switch to a universal tuning, the first ten strings are just like a standard E9.The "D" string is already there. You also have the benefit of the B6 tuning as well.

Duncan you are right my friend....Bob is a good guy and he deserved it.
I told him that pictures would do a lot to help him sell this baby...and I was right.

After I saw Chuck's message I mailed Bob and told him...."Happy Anniversary". Laughing
