Picked up a Shobud Pro I from Daniel Cormier on Wednesday.Fantastic guitar with awesome tone and it looks like a million bucks. The pickup seems a bit microphonic but I understand that Jerry Wallace is the doctor to see.Danny was great to deal with and guitar is everything he said.

Looks like a twin to mine. Yup Jerry Wallace is the man for pickups. _________________ The only thing better than doing what you love is having someone that loves you enough to let you do it.

Lonnie! I see your guitar is a short body Super Pro mechanics model, So its no older than 1977, however the serial # indicates its possibly an early 80s, I'm sure Ricky Davis can pin it down closer than I can! au |

Thanks Al.This is my first Shobud so I am learning about them. I played with a friend last night and he said it's just night and day between the way this one sounds and my last guitar, this one being much prettier tone.Maybe Ricky will see this and offer some input or I will PM him later on. _________________ If I hear it,I'm gonna try to steel it |
