This is a good one. Any rookies who don't have this book simply NEED to get it. _________________ Gary Shepherd

This one book can take a player from a Beginner to Intermediate/Advanced Level of playing. It was originally released at the same time I attended a Jeff Newman week-long seminar in Nashville and someone had brought a copy to Jeff to get his opinion. As Jeff was thumbing through the book, he was blown away by what all it contained and he urged the whole class to get a copy. I have not regretted that purchase whatsoever. It is that good.

This is a great book, and great news that Mel Bay came to its senses and put it back in publication. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

I followed the links for the download (already got the book years ago) and am met with "Page Not Available." (Is it my fault for resolutely staying with Mac OS 10.3.9 because I'm terrified of upgrades and the Ike-like aftermath that can result?) _________________ "Gopher, Everett?" |

Ben, on OS X Tiger (10.4.9) I got the same results. Managed to get to the downloads page via search box, and the Scotty songs aren't there.
Guess a call to Mel Bay is in order. I vote...you do it, Ben!
Great book, too. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

Well, that really sucks. I knew I should have burned a CD of it. I'll complain to my Mel Bay rep on Monday. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

I have an Mac and not much technical computer savvy. Can I manipulate zip files (zip makes me think Windows-only and I don't have software to translate Windows) into useful audio without a Geek Squad captain in attendance? If so, I'll send you my email address or use the Fourm link. _________________ "Gopher, Everett?" |

Ben, in any version of Mac OS X, just double click a zip file and it'll open, the system itself handles that, no additional apps or utilities required. Zip files are cross platform, that's why they're now more common and usable than .sit files. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

I just downloaded them with my Imac G5 (OSX 10.4.11) with no trouble at all and Itunes opened and played them effortlessly |
