I got a tracking number from the people at Emmons yesterday.I went on the UPS website and I see,at this time that the guitar is in Knoxville as of 10:50 am this morning.
I am expecting a friday afternoon delivery with the three day time.It was sent ground.
I would hope to be able to post photos of the guitar in a few weeks or email them to interested parties.
Man it has been a long time a comin.

It's always a treat to get an Emmons, and once you get it you know it was worth the wait. Wish you the best, Richard.

I may take a farm in Georgia for it if it is enough acreage.
Seriously though, the guitar arrived in Two days at 5 pm yesterday. It was sitting in the box on the living room floor when I got home.I just had to open it up to take a look at it and admire it.The big fat chrome emmons name plate on the front of the guitar really jumps out at me.The chrome fret boards are suttle but not overpowering. The tone is undeniable Emmons.I hope to have photos to email to interested people in a few weeks.

And black never goes out of style!

Congratulations and we'll keep our fingers crossed for good handling by the shipper.

It is gloss black.I dont know how true it is cause there are alot of them made, but Ron told me that something about this guitar makes it stand out as one of the most eyecatching black guitars he has ever seen.Perhaps it is a combination of chrome frets, chrome nameplate backplate,I dont know.It also seems to be heavier than the last Emmons that I had.Maybe it is the extra knee lever I dont really know.
Also looking underneath the guitar,Ron has had the cross bars and rods chromed.I also dont know the purpose for this, since no one will see under it when I play but it sure looks nice.
A friend of mine has offered his services to me to photograph the guitar to put on the forum.I will make sure to take a picture of not only the top and front but also the bottom,to show everyone how eyecatching it is.

Emmons, the one brand that stands apart from the rest. The only brand I prefer to play.
Glad it finally came Richard, now go have some fun with it.

You can't beat basic black. I play a D10 LeGrande II in black. I bet that chrome really makes for a sharp looking guitar.
I'm soooo happpy for you.

Nick,
Your steel may say "Emmons", but your face says "Carter"!

My friend Mike Holland who used to play for Doug stone came over and took high quality digital photos of the guitar. As soon as he emails them to me and gives me instructions how to link them from my AOL account the the forum I will post them hopefully tonight.
