Anyone know what is up with Leo, and the Zirc bars a lot of us have ordered ? Paid for. Not getting much response from the folks involved in getting these bars out. Seems like such a long time has passed. Whats up ?

I talked to Leo tis week about a bar he is polishing for me & he has had a sister or somebody whose house caught fire this has thrown him off schedule. I think Leo is a first rate manufacturer, and any wait will be worth the time. The other bar I have from him is the best bar I have ever had.

When I ordered mine, I just assumed it was going to talk a while. I think it might have taken 6 months or longer, but Leo did not cash my check until after I received the bar. The wait is well worth it.

I talked to Leo a few weeks ago and he told me that he is still having trouble getting the proper raw material and a getting a finished product that he is satisfied with. I will personally vouce for this mans integerity and desire to make the best product possible.

I will also tell you that he is losing money on every bar that he produces and sells for $150.

If you be patient you will get your product and I am sure that you will be happy with it. If not please contact Leo.

Leo has had some very major health issues this past 15 months or so and is just now beginning to feel better.

George S.

BTW he does not know I have posted this and I hope it is not out of line.

I've noticed Zirc bars mentioned before, but I really don't know much about them. What are they like? What are the advantages of using Zirc instead of chromed steel or stainless? Thanks.

George, Even if he does not know about your post, know that I appereciate it. I've been checking in with Donna once a month. It seems like such a long time since I ordered two bars. Donna said months ago, that they were close, and to send a check. I did. That was three or four months ago. I don't know these folks, and I will say that the way they are handeling this does not work for me, but I will continue to be patient.
regards, J. W.

I ordered, and received, my zirc bar when I first heard of their availablility. I really like the bar.

I found out that it depends on the guitar you are playing as to the preferability of the zirc bar over my BJS bar. If your guitar sounds "harsh" with a steel bar, you will like the zirc bar.

The thing that I really like about the zirc bar is that it doesn't feel as cold when I first pick it up as compared to a steel bar.

And in Minnesota, that makes a difference! Whoa!
