I saw his show Wednesday night at Floore's Country Store in Helotes Tx. and it is simply fantastic.Lyle sang for over 2 hours and has a super hot band and singers.

I was really impressed with Lyle as throughout the show he would introduce various members of the band who would be prominently featured in the next song.

Lyle Lovett is not "all about himself"....he's about making good music and having great players....which on Wednesday night included Gene Elders on fiddle(George Strait's Ace In The Hole Band) and Sam Bush on mandolin.

The only negative to the night was that it ended!!

Finally, when I went to the hat and t-shirt booth I was pleasantly surprised to find Buck Reid's cd for sale.....I bought a copy and it is great!!!!!

Anyone that has a chance to see this show needs to go.....you won't be disappointed!!!!

I've been invited to a private show on Monday night sponsered by an oil company that I do work with. Can't wait!

Hey Mickey,

I saw him Thur night in Bass Hall, FTW. It was great. I put a post in the thread that Buck started asking about his setup. He really sounded good and came thru the mix really well. Lyle puts on one heck of a show. You'll really enjoy it......
