Went over to Saluda last night, Got there about 7pm. 6 or 7 Steel guitars a picking on stage and 14 more warming up backstage. Got to play Gary Steele's Excel, nice playing and sounding guitar, also Gary Phillips let me play his Zum which was played about like my Old 77 MSA. I left about 10:15 Jeff Newman, John Hughey, Randy Beavers were going strong on stage, Gonna be a good show today

Jimmie is the past president of the Mid Atlantic Steel Guitar Association (2001-2002). I tried to get him to use it as his theme song when he was president but he declined. He is a very fine feller.

Hey Shoe: I have to put a "second vote) to that, "but" you have to put something else in there also, and that he also has a wonderful wife that came with him. It was good to see both of them in Saluda. I got a very nice welcomed hug from his better half!!
