Is anyone else having problems with FireFox? I've been griping at HughesNet for not providing the service I'm paying for but as it turns out, I think it might just be FireFox that causing the issues. I've been having slow surfing speeds, pages not loading completely, not loading at all, server errors, DNS lookup errors, all kinds of problems. YouTube videos will not play in FireFox now...
None of these issues seem to be a problem in IE.
I haven't loaded Opera recently. Maybe I'll go to it for a while. _________________ Gary Shepherd

Maybe you need to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. I've got both and they both work equally well.
I've got FF V 3.0.1 and it works the same as the previous V2. |

Yes, there are issues with the new version and YouTube. Lots of folks getting a blue screen while using YouTube, myself included.
For now I am only using IE for YouTube. Check the net, lots of complaints about this!!! |

I think I've had this same problem with previous versions of FireFox too. At least the YouTube problems. I've deleted my installers for the older versions. All I have now is installers for 3.0 and 3.01 _________________ Gary Shepherd

I quit using firefox. After reinstalling the newest version it would not completely load the pages. Internet explorer works fine. |

My biggest gripe with firefox is when I finally get it set up to do what I want it to do,it upgrades itself, without giving me the option of choosing. Then everything has to be reconfigured. As mentioned, youtube download is a problem. I really like netscape, but no support, Flock is supposed to replace NS.gonna try that for a while.

I use Fire Fox with Vista Home premium and I had to enable JAVA Script in order to play Youtube videos but other than that it loads and works much faster than IE ever thought about.
I also will never again use or load AOL as I found it will bog down your computer in no time. |

I just upgraded my Mac from Tiger to Leopard OS. I also have Firefox 3.0.1 and it works fine. When it's slow (rarely) it is due to the IP "Clearwire".
Youtube videos play w/o problems. |
